Brussels, 15/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has delayed until the autumn the adoption of a non-binding practical guide on the introduction of social considerations in public procurement. It is, however, coming under strong pressure from a number of social partners who are critical of its overly cautious approach in arguing that social considerations should be taken into account in public procurement.
