17/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 17 June, the European Commission decided to raise no objections to start-up aid granted to a new rail transport service between the port of Naples and Nola Interport, one of Italy's main industrial ports, near Naples. The objective of the measure notified by the Italian authorities is to transfer traffic from road to rail over this route. The start-up aid will be at a level of €1,322,000 and will extend over three years. (O.L./transl.fl)
