19/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - The Jean Monnet Association has recently elected a new president. Isabelle Bénoliel takes over from Philippe Laurette, who has presided over the association since 2001. As a graduate of the College of Europe, Bruges and with a PhD in law, Ms Bénoliel worked for the Secretary General for European Affairs (SGAE) at the French foreign affairs department and then at the European Commission. www.jean-monnet.net (A.B./transl.rh)
