Brussels, 19/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a decision made on Tuesday 18 May (C-531/06, C171/07 and C172/07), the European Court of Justice (ECJ) stipulated that Italian and German laws insisting that pharmacies should be exclusively reserved to pharmacists is justified by the objective of seeking to guarantee an appropriate supply of safe and good quality medicinal products to the public.
