18/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European winners of the "European Union and Citizenship" cartoon competition were announced on Monday 11 May. More than 2,500 entrants created their own one-page wordless cartoon project, illustrating the notion of citizenship in the Union. First prize went to the Belgian Mehdi Boualam.
