Energy efficiency and eco-efficiency are to be energy priorities of Swedish Presidency

Brussels, 18/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - Energy efficiency and the EU's transition to an eco-efficient economy will be the flagship issues for the Swedish government during its presidency of the Council. On energy efficiency, Stockholm intends to conclude discussions between the Council and the European Parliament on the three legislative proposals pending on energy performance (buildings, labelling of tyres and labelling of energy products).
