18/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - Italy has offered Tunisia aid of €50 million and has doubled the quota of its illegal migrants, in exchange for its cooperation in repatriating Tunisian illegal immigrants, Franco Frattini, the Italian foreign minister, announced on 13 May. This money will also go to develop the regions of origin of the illegal immigrants pending their repatriation. (B.C./transl.fl)
