07/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 6 April, Justice and Home Affairs ministers called on member states to examine as soon as possible, ways of increasing staff at the Supplementary Information Request at the National Entries (SIRENE) offices. According to the EU27, the lack of staff is having, “a seriously negative effect” on SIRENE's operational capacity. SIRENE offices can be found throughout Schengen countries and aim to provide assistance to Schengen Information System (SIS)...
