People are starting to query the point of the reflection group on the future of the European Union chaired by Felipe Gonzalez, but French UMP MEP Alain Lamassoure thinks it does have a use. He explained to a small group of reporters on Thursday 2 April 2009 that if the Lisbon Treaty does not get ratified, then the reflection group could come up with an alternative.
