Commission suggests further renewal of appropriate measures taken against Harare in 2002

Brussels, 04/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a proposal adopted on Friday 30 January, the European Commission recommends a one year extension (until 20 February 2010) of “appropriate measures” taken against Zimbabwe on 18 February 2002 further to consultation in application of Article 96 of the ACP/EC partnership agreement.
