29/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 29 January, the European Commission decided to send reasoned opinions (second stage in infringement procedure, the third being referral to the Court of Justice of the European Communities) to seven member states (Austria, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and the United Kingdom) for failing to ensure that Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 is transposed into national law.
