Brussels, 22/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 19 December, the Agriculture Council noted a report on the state of progress on a draft regulation setting health rules for animal by-products not for human consumption.
The Council bodies working on the draft regulation have made progress in relation to scope, farmers' and member states' liabilities, approval and registration rules, the pet feeds sector, tie-ins with environmental legislation and simplification.
