Hearing for Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Egyptian Foreign Affairs Minister

Brussels, 04/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 2 December, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Egyptian minister for foreign affairs, was given a hearing by members of the EP delegation for cooperation with the Mashreq. Together with the president of this delegation, Béatrice Patrie (PES, France), the minister agreed that there will be “a possible change in strategy with the arrival in power in Washington of Barack Obama”.
