Brussels, 04/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 3 December, the European Commission cleared the acquisition of the Belgian and Luxembourg subsidiaries of Fortis Holding by French bank BNP Paribas. Clearance is subject to the full divestment of a BNP Belgian subsidiary which operates in the credit card market.
