Brussels, 03/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 1 December, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted a regulation transposing into Community law a number of fisheries management measures adopted by the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) and the South Pacific regional fisheries management organisation.
The regulation sets out the maximum number of Community boats fishing for tropical tuna in the IOTC zone and the corresponding capacity in GT (gross tonnage): Spain (22 boats, 61,400 GT),...
