Bulgaria and Romania to have deadline extended by year for receiving pre-accession agricultural payments

Brussels, 03/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 2 December, the European Commission adopted a decision allowing Bulgaria and Romania to extend the deadline for payments of Special accession programme for agriculture and rural development (SAPARD) funds by one year, from 31 December 2008 to 31 December 2009.
