03/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 27 November, the European Commission approved restructuring aid of €6.2 million for the Polish cast iron producer Odlewnia ¯elmiwa “Œrem” (OZS). The Commission concluded that the aid was in line with EU rules on restructuring companies in difficulty. OZS produces cast iron, mainly for the shipbuilding industry. It employs some 1,450 people.
