Commission welcomes Taiwan's final offer for its accession to WTO agreement on public procurement

Brussels, 03/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 1 December, the European Commission welcomed Taiwan's submission to Geneva on 28 November of its final offer for its accession to the WTO agreement on public procurement (AMP). “After intense discussions, this shows Taiwan's intention to respect the commitments it made when it joined the WTO in 2002 and its desire to develop commercial relations within the framework of the WTO.
