Sweden ratifies new treaty

Brussels, 21/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 20 November, the Swedish parliament ratified the Lisbon Treaty. Pending a solution to the Irish problem (the matter will be dealt with at the European Council in December), the Czech Republic is the only member state that has not yet given its stance on the treaty.
