European Defence Agency approves two maritime surveillance projects

Brussels, 10/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Defence Ministers of participating states meeting within the European Defence Agency (EDA) Steering Board approved on Monday 10 November the launch of two projects in the field of maritime surveillance. An informal meeting of the EDA Steering Board will be organised in March 2009 under Czech Presidency and other decisions relating to the launch of new projects will be expected November next.
