Commission presents annual reports and announces further measures to bring Balkan countries closer to EU

Brussels, 05/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 5 November, the Commission adopted its “enlargement package” comprising a strategic paper, along with the annual progress reports on the three applicant countries - Croatia, Turkey and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) - and the five Balkan countries - Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Kosovo.
