Brussels, 15/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Wednesday that José Manuel Barroso and President in office of the Council of the EU Nicolas Sarkozy would travel to the United States for a meeting with President George W. Bush at Camp David on 18 October. Discussions will focus largely on the “global response” from Europe, the United States and the other world powers to the current financial crisis, said a Commission spokeswoman. (H.B./transl.rt)
