Czech Republic moves closer to joining VWP but Greece will have to wait

Brussels, 15/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Czech minister of the interior, Ivan Langer, and the US ambassador to the Czech Republic, Richard Graber, signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday 14 October 2008 to step up counter-terror activities. The signing of this deal should pave the way for the Czech Republic joining the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP) in the near future. The decision to lift visa requirements for Czechs travelling to the United States is expected to be taken on 17 November...
