10/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 9 October, the European Parliament adopted (by 522 votes to 40, with 19 abstentions) the report by Luca Romagnoli (non-attached, Italy) thereby giving its backing to the proposal for a European Criminal Records Information System (ECRIS) (see EUROPE 9672 and 9712).
