Brussels, 10/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Euromed Parliamentary Assembly is meeting in extraordinary session in Jordan on 12 and 13 October under the chairmanship of Hans-Gert Pöttering, European Parliament President. Parliamentarians of the three groups that make up the assembly (MEPs, national European MPs and their counterparts from Mediterranean third countries) must take stock of the progress made by the EuroMed process since the Paris summit on 13 July.
