Paris, 10/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The president-in-office of the Council, Bernard Kouchner, will be in Egypt on 10-11 October, states his press service, stating that this visit also comes within the framework of close cooperation with Egypt under its co-presidency of the Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean. The minister will evoke the main upcoming deadlines, and in particular the meeting of foreign ministers from the Union for the Mediterranean countries in Marseilles on 3-4 November, which must specify the governance structure of the process and ensure general coordination in implementation of projects. The minister first of all plans during talks at the very highest level (president, prime minister and counterpart) to tackle key regional issues after his visit to the Palestinian Territories and Israel.
