03/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - At its General Assembly in Bayonne on Thursday 2 October, the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) elected Claudio Martini, President of the Region of Tuscany, as its president for a fourth term of office. Four new regions have joined the CPMR: Angus (United Kingdom), Ida-Virumaa (Estonia), Larcana District Development Agency (Cyprus) and Samsun (Turkey). (L.B.S./transl.rt)
