Brussels, 03/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 2 October 2008, the European Commission pointed out the confidentiality requirement incumbent on all former European Commission officials and the penalties that can be levied on them. The announcement came after French national Benoit Le Bret, head of cabinet for EU Commissioner Jacques Barrot, stood down to become an associate of an important company law firm.
