Irish agriculture threatened by greenhouse gas reduction targets

Brussels, 30/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - European greenhouse gas reduction targets present difficulties for Irish agricultural plans, especially for cattle farming. At the Agriculture Council in Brussels on Monday 29 September, Irish Minister Brendan Smith said he thought that measures to combat climate change should be more flexible.
