15/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - In the evening of Tuesday 15 July 2008, the EU's fishing ministers were moving towards a compromise on emergency aid for fishermen hard hit by rising fuel prices. The measures contained in draft legislation published on 8 July 2008 aims to speed up restructuring of the EU fishing fleet to meet current conditions (see Europe 9701). (L.C./transl.fl)
