25/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Europa-Park fun park in Freiburg, Germany, has been chosen for the meeting of some 40 young Israelis, Palestinians, Albanians and Kosovan Serbs from 30 June to 5 July. The “youth camp” will give them the opportunity to discuss their differences and try to find innovative, peaceful responses. It seeks to break down the prejudices and stereotypes, and encourage an awareness of cultural and social characteristics in order to foster dialogue and, possibly, some projects. The event will be presented by Ralf-René Weingartner, Council of Europe Youth and Sport Director, and Roland Mack, Council of Europe Goodwill Ambassador
for Families since April 2003 and Europa-Park Manager, at a press conference at the park on
Tuesday 1 July. (A.D./transl.rt)
