24/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 24 June, the European Commission authorised the plans of Foxconn (Taiwan) to purchase two factories belonging to Sanmina SCI, which are located in Hungary and Mexico respectively. Both Foxconn and Sanmina provide production services for electronic components and related services to original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Further to its investigation, the Commission concluded that the overlaps of the activities of the parties were limited. (C.D./trans.fl)
