23/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 23 June 2008, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of OC Oerlikon Corporation AG (Oerlikon) of Switzerland by Renova Industries Ltd (Renova) of the Bahamas. Renova is an investment company with holdings in engineering, chemical, financial and other sectors, mainly in Russia. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
