Belgrade wants “candidate country” status, end to visas and pre-accession aid access by end of year

Brussels, 11/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - Serbia has set itself three European integration targets by the end of the year: - to obtain the official status of “candidate country” for joining the EU; - a complete end to visa obligations on Serbian citizens who want to visit EU countries; - and access to pre-accession aid for candidate countries.
