EP calls on member states to carry out necessary reforms for strengthening CFSP

Brussels, 05/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 5 June, the European Parliament adopted the report by the chairman of the foreign affairs committee, Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (EPP-ED) on the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), which was discussed the day before in plenary (EUROPE 9675). The main elements of the report approved by 520 votes to 107 and 17 abstentions were:
