ArcelorMittal signs global agreement on occupational health and safety

Brussels, 05/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel company, and trade unions representing its employees across the globe - European Metalworkers' Federation (FEM), United Steelworkers (USW) and the International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF) - signed a global agreement on occupational health and safety in Luxembourg on Tuesday 3 June to improve health and standards throughout the company, a joint press release announces.
