EU-Andean Community Association Agreement to incorporate banana trade

Lima, 06/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On the margins of the second plenary session of the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (EuroLat), Freddy Ehlers Zurita, Secretary General of the Andean Community of Nations (ACN) said that the banana issue would also be broached. Ecuador has submitted a complaint to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) about the European banana import system.
