06/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - An error of interpretation crept into our article on guidelines for State aid in the rail sector (EUROPE 9654). Contrary to what was stated, the guidelines do not relate to public financing of infrastructure but only to use of rail infrastructure by rail companies and to public support of rail companies through the financing of these infrastructures.
