Javier Solana visits Chad and Central African Republic

Brussels, 06/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana is on visit to the Central African Republic and Chad on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 May to restate the EU's commitment to finding a solution to the Darfur crisis. Solana's visit began on Tuesday with a meeting in Bangui with the president of the Central African Republic, François Bozizé. He then went to the Chadian capital, N'Djamena, where he had a meeting scheduled with Chadian President Idriss Déby....
