Brussels, 30/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 30 April, the EU welcomed the Turkish parliament's decision to amend Article 301 of the penal code which, with a view to stifling denigration of the Turkish identity, considerably restricts freedom of expression in Turkey.
