Brussels, 30/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is not at present planning on any binding legal measures regarding the affair of the Ukrainian sunflower oil contaminated with hydrocarbons and which illegally turned up on the EU market (EUROPE 9652).
The most recent information at the Commission's disposal, including scientific information, does not appear to suggest that there is a high public health danger and measures taken by the countries concerned, France, Italy, Spain...
