Brussels, 16/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The political groups of the European Parliament have finally managed to agree on appointing a rapporteur on the proposed directive aiming to facilitate intra-Community transfers of arms and their component parts. It is the German Green Heide Rühle who will prepare a draft report for the committee on the internal market. This launches the European Parliament's examination of the proposal.
