Informal meeting of EU Health Ministers in Brdo on 17-18 April

Brussels, 16/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - Brdo pri Kranju will host the half-yearly informal meeting of European Union health ministers on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 April. The meeting, which will be chaired by Slovenian Health Minister Zofija Mazej Kukoviè, will be the first attended by new Health Commissioner Androulla Vasiliou.

On Thursday 17 April 2008, the central topic of the meeting will be reducing the burden of cancer. Ministers have been asked by the Presidency to focus on the areas...
