First Agadir Agreement investment forum to breathe new life into regional integration on southern Mediterranean shores

Brussels, 09/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - Held in Brussels on 8 April 2008, the first Agadir Agreement countries' investment forum aimed to facilitate contact between their governments and European enterprises in order to breathe new life into EU investment in countries on the southern shores of the Mediterranean.

Ahead of the creation of a EuroMed free trade zone in 2010, the Agadir Agreement came into force in March 2007, establishing a free trade zone (FTZ) between Egypt, Jordan, Morocco...
