Commission to pay €80 million to Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund

Brussels, 28/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - €80 million is the contribution that the European Commission plans to make to the Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund (GEEREF) over the period 2007-2010. It thus plans to boost this fund which aims to mobilise private investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in developing countries and economies in transition.
