EU welcomes appointment of new prime minister

Brussels, 25/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Slovenian EU Council Presidency welcomed, on Tuesday 25 March, the appointment of Yusuf Raza Gilani as the new prime minister of Pakistan, saying the appointment is “an important step in the development of democracy, stability and security in Pakistan”.
