GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/court of justice

21/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 21 February, the Court of Justice ruled that Austrian insecticide Deltamex must, before being marketed in France, go through the French authorities' marketing authorisation procedure, under the terms of Council directive 91/414/EE. Similarity with the pesticide Decis already authorised in France does not mean automatic authorisation, since the two products have different manufacturers (C-201/06). (C.D.)
