Seven Ministers call on Council to ensure implementation of the energy-climate package serves the aims of the Lisbon Strategy

Brussels, 21/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of the Competitiveness Council to be held in Brussels on 25 February, Austria, Germany, France, Luxemburg, Finland, Hungary and the Czech Republic have jointly called on the Slovenian Presidency and the Commission to carry out an in-depth assessment, with appropriate caution, on the energy-climate package presented on 23 January (see EUROPE 9586) to avoid European competitiveness paying the cost of ambitious measures if other third country...
