Parliament calls for territorial cohesion to be promoted and supports territorial agenda and Charter of Leipzig

Brussels / Strasbourg, 21/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 21 February in Strasbourg, the European Parliament adopted by a large majority the own-initiative reports (somewhat amended) by Ambroise Guellec (EPP-ED, France) on the 4th European Commission report on economic and social cohesion; and that of Gisela Kallenbach (Greens/EFA, Germany) on follow-up to the territorial agenda and the Charter of Leipzig.
