20/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Strasbourg on Tuesday 19 February, the members of the EPP-ED group decided to expel the British Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan from their ranks. In a speech at the plenary session in Brussels on 31 January, Mr Hannan compared an interpretation of the Regulation of the European Parliament by its president to the German law of 1933 which conferred all power upon the Nazi regime.
